In 2019, EU greenhouse gas emissions would have been 20% higher had our sectors not existed. With the right policy conditions, and clear vision on the regulatory landscape, we could increase fossil emissions reduction in the EU to the equivalent of at least 30% of the bloc’s total CO2 emissions.
